Hi! hope you're all well rested during the whole week of suspension of classes.

Since we are done with Lesson 15:Polynomials and we are supposed to discuss Lesson 16: Addition and Subtraction of Polynomials, please read pp. 412 - 415 of our Math textbook.  Please try to consult other references if you think the discussions in the book are not enough.  You may check www.coolmath.com for additional help.(:

Answer exercises on p. 416 (nos. 16 - 22); and p. 417 (nos. 25 - 29; 31 - 39). Place all your solutions and answers in your notebook. We will check and further discuss the lesson when we meet.

To make sure that everyone gets this email, kindly forward this to at least two of your classmates the moment you get to read it.

Dear III-A,

If things are back to "normal" next week, we will have a review on Monday and then our long test on the next meeting.  So hopefully, you've also allotted some time reviewing already for the long test these last few days, since this has been announced before already.

We are however anticipating additional class suspensions in light of the impending typhoon this weekend.  So just in case you're running out of review materials (and are craving for more =) , I've attached three pages of new exercises that you can try working on.  Although it doesn't contain all of the things that we took up, it's good material because it mixes up the different kinds of problems in the end.  Essentially, what you really need to master is recognizing which is the right approach to a problem.

If you are also lucky to have electricity and internet access, this is also a good site to visit to help you review.

Take note, if there are no classes on Monday, we will NOT have our long test on our first meeting when classes resume.  You will still have an opportunity to ask questions, but I do expect you to be studying for the long test already.

Take care and don't forget to remember our country in your prayers.

Ms. Yap

PS. Cheska, Vivien or Ina V, I might have missed someone in my recepient list.  In case you have a class yahoogroup, please fwd this there also.

PS2. I hope everyone checks their e-mails.  :)
