The Woodrose Student Council would like to invite all students, teachers, and staff to visit the Martial Law Exhibit in the High School Patio, which will officially open on November 29, 2016.
It is important that you are informed about the issues at hand so you have the opportunity to form your opinions and you have the facts to defend them. Thinking about these issues and engaging in intellectual discussions based on facts are two ways to do your duty as citizens of the country. This can also be achieved by learning as much as you can about historical and current events.
In the exhibit, you will find informational posters about the truth behind Martial Law, such as the clarification of certain myths. There will also be short films of relevant newscasts and stories of Martial Law victims. Also, you can share your thoughts about recent political events on the Freedom Wall. Lastly, you can get a black ribbon in the patio and wear it to signify your stand.
We hope that you visit the exhibit and maximize this learning opportunity, which is a good way for us to contribute to society, improve our nation, and lead others towards the truth.
