Student Exchange Program 2017

Our summer student exchange programs are currently underway in Japan and Australia!

On April 25, the first group of fourteen Grade 10 students left for Tsu City, Japan, where they are making a third visit to Saint Joseph School for Girls with their chaperones Mrs. Lisa Sator and Mrs. Suzie Tiotangco.

Doing a school visit for the first time in Nagasaki Seido School for Girls, also in Japan, are ten Grade 10 students and their chaperone Ms. Lala Kliatchko. They arrived on April 26 and visited important sites honoring the birth of Christianity in Japan.

Another group of fourteen Grades 9 and 10 students, accompanied by Mrs. Marirose Baseleres and Mrs. Rachel Zulueta, made the longer trip to Sydney, Australia on April 27 for what is also a first-time visit to Tangara School for Girls, where Woodrose alumna Kristine Malabanan (Class 1998) is a teacher.

We look forward to their return after a 10-day visit, and we can’t wait to hear all about their experiences!  In the meantime, here are some photos they’ve sent our way:
